Quintana Roo has always been at the forefront of triathlon bike technology. The company invented the triathlon geometry, and we are not talking just steep seat angles like so many brands feel makes a bike a tri-bike.
QR understands what makes the bike section of a triathlon more than a straighforward time trial. QR also understands what athletic demands you are still required to undertake before you reach the finish line.
The QR bike line sees a further enhancement in geometry excellence. Working closely with QR found Dan Empfield, our designers research the Fit Institute Slow Twitch (F.I.S.T.) positioning data, which contained fit numbers from thousands of fitting tests.
Dan Empfield and our engineers comcluded from these numbers that the close to perfect fit can be achieved with an 'off the shelf' bike. This discovery has been the catalyst to the generation of bikes from QR.
